We all know them as man's best friend. All over the world dogs are showing up in ALL types of clothes. The Haute Dog Fashion has some of the most fabulous dogs walking the runway. Every year dogs are humiliated and forced to walk down the runway and what do they get out of it? A good laugh from their dumb owners.

These fashion shows are not all bad though,  they often are for a good cause like charity for hospitals.

The owners go to the extreme when it comes to the dog's performance. They write speeches, take the dogs to the groomers and they even hire a fashion models for walking. The owners go extreme also when it comes to the dog's outfits. They will purchase the finest things such as: furs, silk even diamonds.

Too Extreme?

Rich owners are taking it to the extreme when it comes to their pet dogs. A lady in California actually had a house built for her dog. She says that she "would do it again in a heartbeat,” she said. “I live in it. I hang out in there with them. We have had camp-outs with my niece and nephew.”

The dog mansions can get pretty expensive. It comes fully equipped with:

- Plumbing
- Chandeliers
-  Crown molding
- Closets
- designer paint
- wallpapers
- Patios
-Yards
-Fences

What do you think extreme or not?

Wal-Mart Vs. Target

I love shopping but not all places has the lowest prices. I have chose two stores that claim they have low prices which are Walmart and Target.

Walmart is where everybody shops at. They swear the have the lowest prices around. Honestly I think that is a bunch of BULL! I admit that some things have reasonable prices but majority of it does not.

Target also says they have low prices as well. I haven't really shop there but people have been telling me that they have some low prices.

The similarities of these two stores are that they are:

- Super marts
-  a lot of customers
- Investors
- reasonable prices

The differences of these two stores are that:

-Walmart has white and blue colors
- Target has white and red colors

According to David Johnson the color blue is more calming while the color red is more exciting. Actually Ayanna Guyhto made a good point when she said that " The huge white letters hanging overhead appear so sterile and generic, that it makes me feel like I'm entering a gloomy warehouse". She was right when she also said that "  the color red excites people and gets energy going".   I think that more people would want to enter a place where it is vibrant rather than gloomy.

Differences continued....

Walmart

  • Lower prices
  • international
  • Grocery, Pharmacy and Entertainment

  • Not International
  • Nicer Merchandise
  • Household goods, Clothing, Electronics

Personally I think that both of these stores are reliable. It just depends on what you are searching for.  Both of these stores have pretty much everything. It also just depends on how much money are you willing to pay and how nice you want the product to be.

Fashion Interview

I have permission to interview my cousin Mesha. I chose to interview her because she is my go to girl when I want to spend money. I love shopping with her and she is a blast to be around.
  • Do you prefer to be helped when you are shopping or do you prefer to be left alone?
To be honest I like both. Some of the customer service people are really helpful but I really hate when they try and help me and I haven’t stepped two in the door yet. Some people really like their job I guess.

  • Describe your best and worst customer service experience
I don't really have a best customer service experience but I do have a worst. I went to the mall and tried to return a pair of pants and they didn't except them. So I got mad and started yelling they had to escort me out of the store I was so embarrassed.

  • Do you think you are a fashionable person? Why?
I mean I think that I am pretty fashionable because I don’t really dress like anybody else I try and have my own style and so far it has been working for me.

  • Do you enjoy shopping?
Of course I do I mean what girl doesn't?
  • What are some of the places that you enjoy shopping at?
I love shopping at Charlotte Russe, Urban Outfitters, Rainbows. You know places where I can actually afford.
  •       Do you agree with this statement "the customer is always right"?
Yes I do because ultimately the customer knows what they want it is the employee’s job to find it.
  •    What do you enjoy most about shopping?
I enjoy shopping because it relaxes me. I also love shopping because you  can spend time with the girls and spend money.

  •     Where do you get inspiration from when you shop for clothes?
I really don’t have a lot of inspiration I mean I try and have my own style.

  •     Do you look at teen fashion magazines?
Not really. I really have never stopped to look at fashion magazine at the store or something.

Spring Trends

Spring is here and there are a lot of trends that are in this year. The right color choices and accessories will transform your outfit from blahh to wow!

Maxi dresses are really in right now. From the runway to the streets, they are popping up everywhere. Maxi dresses flow and they are really comfortable. You can accessorize with a belt to make it shape your body more.  You can wear different shoes with these dresses as well. Like wedges, sandals and even flip flops. With those kinds of dresses though I would chose sandals but that’s just me.

Midi dresses are also in this spring and it is just a dress that stops mid length to your knees. They are perfect is you don’t like a short dress or a long dress.  They are super cute and again they can be paired with any type of shoe.

Mini dresses are in as well. A lot of celebrities have been rockin’ them for spring. As for the shoes with theses dresses you can get away with wearing a heel or a wedge to dress it the outfit up more.

High low hem line is a new trend that I’ve been seeing a lot lately. It is a dress that is higher in the front and longer in the back. I personally like these kinds of dresses because it shows off the legs really well.  I have actually seen this kind of style in prom dresses as well. It is big in demand. I think a dressy flip flop will go perfect with these kinds of dresses.

Body con skirts are my absolute favorite thing to wear this spring! They compliment your body well. It comes in so many different colors and styles.  You can pretty much pair them with any type of shirt. Like the crop top shirt and even a plain shirt. Some people wear the shirt un- tucked from the skirt. I love to wear mines tucked in though. As for shoes any type of shoes will work for this look.

DIY (Do it yourself)

Lets be honest we all like things that we can go out and buy, but sometimes we just don’t have the money to do so. These simple DIY’s will come in handy if you can’t go to the store.

This first DIY is an exfoliating mask to remove the excess dead skin. This can take place of your everyday face scrub that you would normally use. It’s called a Sugar and Olive Oil face scrub and I’m sure that you already guessed the main ingredients. This uses household products that you should already have in your kitchen. You will need a bowl, spoon, sugar and olive oil.  Take three table spoons or olive oil and a half cup of sugar and mix the ingredients into a bowl. Once completed you are ready to apply to your face.

The second DIY is a hair mask when your hair is just a dry mess. This is specifically a hydrating mask that will make hair healthier and give it more shine. For this mask you will need a bowl, honey and olive oil.  Take three tablespoons of olive oil and 1 ½ tablespoons of honey. This will help hydrate the hair naturally.  When doing this I recommend wearing a old shirt and using a towel.

This last DIY is something a little different and I thought people would benefit from – How to make your own crop top. As I’m sure you know crop tops are very in right now and I saw this video by Bethany. She is a girl that I follow on YouTube.  "She basically explains how to transform a big shirt into a crop top. She also shows you waysto wear them". You will need a shirt and some really sharp scissors. Lay the shirt on a hard surface. Then take the scissors and make a tiny slit in the middle of the neck line. Make a slit on both sides of the arm parts. Afterwards start cutting. When you have finished with that, go to the bottom of the shirt and cut straight across. This is creating the crop part. Try it on and you are done.
